What should I expect on my first visit?

The initial consultation will start with a discussion about you and your presenting problem. This will be followed by a physical assessment. Based on the findings a treatment plan will be discussed and commenced. Exercises will be sent by email or printed. Receipts will be emailed or printed and must be retained to claim back against your insurer or your end of year tax-back.

What treatments methods do you perform?

The treatment selection depends on a number of factors, such as the injury type, the patient’s medical status and their prior experience with treatments. I generally perform manual therapy techniques in combination with exercise therapy. Dry needling is also available.

What should I wear?

As part of the assessment we need to inspect the target area, which means being in a comfortable state of undress. Loose comfortable clothing is best, Shorts are best for lower limb assessments. Runners should wear the shoes they tend to run in.

How much does it cost?

The treatment session is charged at €65
(special introductory rate €50)

How long does an appointment last?

Each sessions lasts for 30 minutes

What should I bring?

Please bring your GP letters, test results and surgical protocols. Bring any sporting equipment relevant to you, such as your bike or hurl. Under 18’s need a chaperone.

Is there a cancellation charge?

I ask that you give 24 hours notice on cancelling appointments. A late cancellation charge of €30 will apply for


Am I covered through insurance?

We are covered through all the major health insurers. A receipt will be emailed to you upon each payment made, which you will need to claim back.
